The Mesa, AZ Inter-Stake Center is gets a new wood floor.
The 60-year-old floor was so damaged under the bleachers that it was going to
require major repairs to the perimeter of the floor. We then discovered that the adhesives and
matting under the wood floor (the black stuff in the photo) was full of asbestos. Fortunately,
we found an abatement contractor and wood floor manufacturer/installer
team to give us an offer to replace the entire new floor for not much more than the repairs
would have cost to the sides. But gone is the old parquet wood floor!
And yes, those are A/C ducts in the pictures.
